Yakima River
The Yakima River is the only blue ribbon trout stream in Washington and it just so happens to run through the backyard of my hometown, Thorp, Washington. The Yakima River is widely known for its world class trout fly fishing and with salmon numbers continuing to increase each year the trout fishing only keeps getting better. Being the longest river flowing entirely within the state, 214 miles, come see the 75 miles of river that classifies as blue ribbon.
